Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy can be used to help a wide-range of problems including emotional issues, anxieties, phobias, unwanted habits, insomnia, stress, weight loss, lack of confidence or stopping smoking. There’s no need to ‘struggle on’ with these issues. Hypnotherapy can offer you the solution that you’ve been looking for.

So what is Hypnotherapy?

The term Hypnosis is taken from the Greek ‘hypnos’ meaning ‘sleep’. This is an inaccurate description as a hypnotic state is more liken a daydream – an altered state of mind. You’re aware of the hypnotherapists voice although you may become so relaxed that you ‘switch off’ into a daydream, however you’re fully awake and if there was an emergency you’d be able to react immediately. At all stages you’re in control and often the hypnotherapist and client will talk with each other during the session.

Jane is a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Motivational Coach and is registered on the General Hypnotherapy Register working in the Wrexham and Chester area. She offers a confidential and professional service and works almost exclusively with her clients in their own homes. Sessions typically last for one-hour and usually no more than two sessions are required. Often just one session is enough.
